Dr. Natalie Lopasic, MD

Dr. Lopasic is a board-certified ophthalmologist and eye surgeon specializing in neuro-ophthalmology, cataract surgery, eyelid surgery and eye muscle surgery in adults and children. She received her undergraduate degree from Emory University and her medical degree from Chicago Medical School. After completing an ophthalmology residency at the University of South Carolina, Dr. Lopasic performed a one year fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology, oculoplastics, pediatric ophthalmology, and pediatric neuro-ophthalmology under the direction of Dr. Gregory Krohel and Albany Medical College. Dr. Lopasic provides comprehensive eye exams for adults and children. She treats a variety of eye diseases including cataracts, thyroid eye disease, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Her specialty training in neuro-ophthalmology allows her to treat more complicated eye problems such as double vision and optic nerve diseases.

Dr. Lopasic specializes in the latest technology in cataract surgery. She also specializes in eyelid and eye muscle surgery. She treats drooping eyelids as well as other eyelid problems. She also provides corrective eye muscle surgery for eyes that turn in or out. Dr. Lopasic operates at Samaritan Hospital in Troy and Albany Regional Eye Surgery Center in Latham. Dr. Lopasic also performs in-office surgeries and laser procedures including medically necessary and cosmetic Botox® injections.

She is a member of the New York State Ophthalmological Society and The American Academy of Ophthalmology. 


Dr. Rebecca M. Sieburth, MD

Dr. Sieburth is a board-certified ophthalmologist and eye surgeon specializing in neuro-ophthalmology and cataract surgery. Originally from Pennsylvania, she received her undergraduate degree from Wheaton College in Massachusetts. At Wheaton, she studied fine art in addition to her pre-med scientific curriculum, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She returned to Pennsylvania to earn her MD at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University on two academic merit scholarships, graduating as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at the University of Virginia, where she served as a Chief resident, and received multiple resident research awards. She completed her fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology at the Northeast Eye Center in partnership with Albany Medical College.

Dr. Sieburth has experience in the medical and surgical care of a variety of eye diseases and sees both adults and children for complete eye exams. She specializes in modern cataract surgery using advanced technology. She also evaluates and treats optic nerve disorders, double vision, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, crossed eye, lazy eye, and a variety of eyelid disorders. Dr. Sieburth also performs minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), eyelid surgery, corrective eye muscle surgery, laser surgery, and Botox injections.


Dr. Michael Belhumeur, OD

Dr. Belhumeur is a Residency trained optometrist from Niskayuna, New York. He graduated from SUNY Potsdam with an undergraduate degree in English in 2008 and returned to the Albany area. After working at local optometry and ophthalmology offices as a technician for a number of years, Dr. Belhumeur returned to his studies and started optometry school at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worcester, Massachusetts. Dr. Belhumeur graduated as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honors Society and then started his optometric residency with the Department of Veterans Affairs at the Perry Point Medical Center in Perry Point, Maryland. During his residency, Dr. Belhumeur helped to manage patients in specialty retina, glaucoma, and anterior segment clinics in addition to serving as an attending doctor for optometry school students on their rotations. After graduating from Residency Dr. Belhumeur stayed on with the Maryland VA, eventually becoming Chief Optometrist and Residency/Student director of the Perry Point Optometry clinic.

Dr. Belhumeur has experience in managing a wide range of ocular conditions, including glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, but is also happy helping people to find their perfect pair of glasses.


Dr. Taylor Champagne

Dr. Taylor Champagne is a dedicated optometrist from Johnsonville, New York. She earned her bachelor’s degree from SUNY Oneonta in Biology with a concentration in Biomedical Science and Pre-Optometry as well as a minor in Chemistry. Dr. Champagne received her Doctorate of Optometry at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where she complete the accelerated scholars program.

Her clinical externships include Eyesight Ophthalmic Services in Portsmouth, NH, Eyecare Associates in Norwalk, CT, The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, PA, and Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation in Bethel, AK. During her time she worked in areas of primary care, low vision, dry eye, pediatrics, vision therapy, glaucoma, and rural medicine. She has a passion for working with patients of all ages and discussing the importance of maintaining optimal eye health.

She is a member of the American Academy of Optometry and New York State Optometric Association.
